Tips and Tricks to Stay Organized

Image
Many people, including me, find it hard to stay organized. One might set a goal to be organized and they keep up with that goal for a couple of weeks, but then they slowly start to get unorganized. I have compiled this list of tips and tricks to get organized and stay organized. 1. Make a To-Do List             Having a to-do list can make overwhelming days into calm days. Write down every single thing you need to do on a certain day. Include the tiniest of tasks. (ex. Picking out clothes for tomorrow, or filling up your water bottle) After you have everything written down on your list, start completing them one by one. Always start with the easiest tasks first! That way when you get to the harder tasks on your list, you won't be overwhelmed by everything else you have to do. 2. Clean Workspace              Working in a clean space can help you be more productive and not as overwhelmed. When I work at the desk in my room, I am always distracted by everything on th

Zebra Mildliners Review

Image
Last year, for my birthday I got a set of Zebra Mildliners. This stationary item from Japan is very popular among other bullet journalist and you may have seen them on Instagram or Youtube. I wanted to share my experience with using them.  In the set that I got, I have a pastel green, pastel purple, pink, light blue, and a light grey. On the side of the mildliner with the clip, is the chisel tip side. Then on the other side is the small tip, which I use to write with.     Zebra Mildliners are double-sided highlighters that have softer tones that look really pretty on paper. I have had them for almost a year and they still write like brand new. I love to use them in my bullet journal and they are much better than the neon yellow highlighters I normally use. Plus, these markers don't bleed through my bullet journal pages. If you don't like this particular color selection, there are a bunch of other sets that have other colors that are also very pretty.

What Do I Put in My Bullet Journal?

After you have made your bullet journal, you may wonder, "What do I put in this?" I can help answer this question, just continue reading. There are so many different types of spreads, like weekly spreads, yearly spreads, chore charts, habit trackers, just to name a few. Down below I am going to show you different types of spreads and how to use them. Weekly Spreads: These spreads are probably the most used in my bullet journal. This layout allows you to view all your tasks and events for the week. Depending on how you organize it, you can have space for all seven days of the week and a box for next week. They can be decorated to look super cute making it fun to complete tasks. Yearly Spreads: This spread is used to show the entire year and any main events that you want to remember each month. Also great to put people's birthdays. This part of your bullet journal can work similarly to a calendar. The yearly spread may also be called a future log. Ye

How to Start a Bullet Journal

Hello,              Recently, a trend has started up in the last year called "bullet journaling." Many people don't know what it is, how to start one, and why they should use them. In the simplest definition, bullet journals are custom planners that can have anything in them from notes, and events, to habit trackers and chore charts. They can be decorated in any way one would want and can be customized to 'liking.              I started my first bullet journal last year in March and I have been using it for a year. I use my journal all the time and it is extremely helpful in making me be productive. I recommend making one to make the tasks in your life easier to conquer. What You Need to Start a Bullet Journal *There isn't anything special that you need to start your own bullet journal* First, you need a notebook. Typically a bullet journal has a grid format made with dots, but you can basically use any notebook, grid, lines, or just blank. My bull
